AIBS Bangla Language Fellowship Program

AIBS Bangla Tutoring Service
Learn Bangla this summer with our 8-week online tutoring program designed for learners of all backgrounds and proficiency levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your reading, writing, and conversational skills, our experienced tutors will guide you through a structured and culturally rich learning experience.

The Bangla Tutoring Service offers participants a valuable opportunity to strengthen their Bangla language skills through personalized online instruction tailored to each student’s proficiency level. The program will take place over the summer of 2026 for 8 weeks and is designed for learners seeking to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a supportive and structured environment.

Program Overview
The Bangla Tutoring Service is open to motivated learners at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Instruction will be delivered online, allowing students to participate from any location while receiving individualized guidance matched to their language proficiency.

Tutoring Format
Tutoring sessions will be conducted online over an 8-week summer term. Lessons will be customized to student needs and may include pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary development, reading practice, writing support, and conversational fluency. Selected students will be matched with an experienced tutor based on their current proficiency levels, areas of interest, and language learning goals.

Learning Goals
This program is designed to help students build confidence and competence in Bangla for academic, professional, cultural, or personal reasons. Participants will be encouraged to set goals, track progress, and actively engage with the language throughout the summer.

Application Note
Applicants should indicate their current Bangla proficiency level when applying so that tutoring can be matched appropriately. Early application is encouraged, since availability may be limited and scholarship support is competitive.

Evaluation
The selected students will be periodically evaluated based on their performance and growth. The Tutor may design a final evaluation to test progress. Please note that AIBS will not grant any credit or certificate of completion to the participants as AIBS is not a credit-granting and/or accredited certificate-generating entity.
